How to get BIS Certification for Copper Products?
1. The manufacturer has to submit the application along with supporting documents.
2. The manufacturer has to ensure the quality of the products as per the applicable Indian Standard.
3. The manufacturer must have testing facilities in the factory premises as per the standard
requirement.
4. BIS will conduct the Preliminary Inspection in the factory to verify the manufacturing and testing
facilities, also seal the samples for testing in BIS recognized lab.
5. BIS will issue the license/Certificate on the basis of test and Inspection report.
