Ministry of Steel has issued the quality control order for many type of Ferroalloys to ensure the quality as per the applicable Indian standard requirements.
These QCO will not only improve the product quality but also build the trust among industries and consumers.
According to these Ferroalloys Quality Control order, Manufacturer who comes under the QCO have to get the BIS License before the effective date of QCO.
How to get BIS Certification for Ferroalloys?
1. Manufacture has to submit the application along with supporting documents.
2. Manufacture has to ensure the quality of the products as per the applicable Indian Standard.
3. Manufacturer must have testing facilities in the factory premises as per the standard requirement.
4. BIS will conduct the Preliminary Inspection in the factory to verify the manufacturing and testing facilities also seal the samples for the testing in BIS recognized lab.
5. BIS will issue the license/Certificate on the basis of test and Inspection report.
