BIS Audit of AAC Block as per IS 2185 Part-3 is Completed

We are pleased to inform you that the ERCS team has successfully conducted another BIS audit for our client for their product "AAC Block" as per IS 2185 (Part 3) as per Scheme - I. As a result, the Bureau of Indian Standards has awarded a BIS Licence for the AAC Block in accordance with IS 2185 (Part 3).

What is the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India?

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is India's national standards body, functioning under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Government of India. BIS specializes in product standardization, certification, and testing.

ISI Certification India

Under this program, the licensee (maker) is required to use or apply a Standard Mark ISI provided by the Bureau of Indian Standards for items created on a manufacturing premises that meet all of the requirements of the applicable Indian Standard(s).

Audited Products :

IS 2185 Part 3 covers AAC blocks. This standard specifies the specifications, sampling method, and test for AAC Blocks used for general applications. AAC blocks may be used to create a variety of buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs. To swiftly build a strong building, blocks are placed with mortar in a running bond.
