1. Mandate for ISI Mark Certification of STRUCTURAL STEEL (IS 15911) :

• Under section 14 of Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 1986, the Ministry of Steel, consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards has issued the Steel and Steel Product List (Quality control order) according to the QCO, Product can’t be sold in the Indian Market without having BIS (ISI Mark) Certificate.

• As per the Quality control order, all the manufacturers of STRUCTURAL STEEL are obligated to obtain ISI Mark Certification.
