Mandate for ISI Mark Certification of Polyurethanes (IS 17397) :

• Under section 14 of Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 1986, the Ministry of Chemical and Fertilizers, consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards has issued the Chemical Product List (Quality control order) according to the QCO, Product can’t be sold in the Indian Market without having BIS (ISI Mark) Certificate.

• As per the Quality control order, allthe manufacturers of Polyurethanes are obligated to obtain ISI Mark Certification.
