- Under section 14 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 1986 (63 of 1986), the Ministry of Commerce and Industry after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards has issued the Quality control order.
- As per the Quality control order, all the manufacturers of Gypsum Plaster Boards are obligated to obtain ISI Mark Certification.
