BEE Registration Timeline, Validity & Renewal for Ballast

The registration procedure under BEE takes 30 to 60 days (approx. 6 to 8 weeks) and includes laboratory testing. For manufacturers outside India, applications must be submitted through either an authorised Indian representative (AIR) or an Indian importer, as direct applications from outside India will not be accepted. The certificate of registration, once issued, will be valid for 3 years or until the product notification period expires, whichever is applicable.
