BIS Audit of Rolling Mill of Aluminium Foil for Food Packaging as per IS 15392

We are pleased to share that the ERCS team has completed another BIS audit for our client for their product "Rolling Mill of Aluminium Foil for Food Packaging" in accordance with IS 15392, Scheme - I. As a result, the Bureau of Indian Standards has given a BIS License for the Rolling Mill of Aluminum Foil for Food Packaging in accordance with IS 15392.

What is  Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India?

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is India's national standards body, functioning under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Government of India. BIS specialises in product standardisation, certification, and testing.

ISI Certification India (Scheme-I)

Under this program, the licensee (manufacturer) is required to use or apply a Standard ISI Mark provided by the Bureau of Indian Standards for goods created on manufacturing premises that meet all of the requirements of the applicable Indian Standard(s).

IS 15392 covers the Rolling Mill of Aluminium Foil for Food Packaging.
