• Application and Documentation Review: ERCS assisted the client through the application process and undertook the organization of documents required per BIS; therefore, they collected and provided legal and regulatory documents, technical documentation, material traceability, test reports, and quality manuals. 
• On-site Factory Audit in Switzerland: The auditor selected and appointed by BIS, along with ERCS specialists, conducted a thorough audit of: Manufacturing processes, Quality systems, Equipment calibration, and Product testing. 
• Product Sampling and Testing: Various bolts and screws were sampled and sealed so that they could be sent to a BIS-designated laboratory and tested for material and mechanical compliance.  
• Compliance Review and Reporting: The factory was recommended for BIS certification based on audit observations and successful testing results of the samples drawn from the site.
