FMCS BIS Certification

The FMCS Scheme was established by the BIS Act of 2016 and the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations of 2018. It grants a BIS license to a product manufactured by a foreign manufacturer. The license is provided for goods that meet the appropriate Indian Standards.

• IS 733 covers specifications, sampling techniques, and testing procedures for   Wrought Aluminium and Aluminium Alloy Bars, Rods, and Sections (For General Engineering Purposes).
• IS 1285 covers the specifications, sampling technique, and testing procedures for   Wrought Aluminium and Aluminium Alloys- Extruded Round Tube and Hollow Sections for General Engineering Purposes.
