BIS Certification For Stainless Steel Sliding Door Bolts (Aldrops) For Use With Padlocks IS 15834
Door ALdrops are fitted at the
door and can be used to the both side of the door used to close or open the
door. It is a mechanical device which doesn't need any key just push or
slide the AL drops in its place to close or release to open the door. These sliding door
bolts are installed on doors to facilitate smooth and friction-free movement.

SCOPE
This standard specifies the
requirements regarding materials, manufacture, dimensions and finish of clip
type stainless steel sliding door bolts used in general building construction
for locking doors, gates, etc., with padlocks.
